Design approach
Energy and power monitoring hardware places the measurement front-end, isolation strategy and grounding at the centre of the design. The layout separates the measurement and logic domains, and the firmware-facing interfaces are defined during schematic design so the acquisition path is predictable before the first prototype is built.
